The Lead Screw tensioning tool allows you to easily put your lead screw in tension. This tool reduces lead screw whip, which is common in lead screws with lengths greater than 1000mm/39in, and ensures that your machine is running smoothly. With a 1500mm/60in lead screw place under tension speeds of 6000mm/min can be achieved. Use a Thrust Bearing and Lock Collar at both ends of your axis to hold tension on the lead screw.
