Ferric (Iron) Nitrate Crystal based Etching Powder/Crystals that can be used for many Silver Etching applications such as to make Silver Jewellery  or Electronics applications. For best results use at 50 degrees Celcius. Ferric Nitrate is also called Iron(III) Nitrate. Appears as light violet crystals and is soluble in water and alcohol. Another popular application is for making a attractive brown to black patina on copper, bronze and brass. It is also used in combination with other chemicals to achieve golden browns, red browns etc. Produces an attractive rust color on steel. 0.5Kg will make a 1 litre Working Solution 1Kg will make a 2 litre working solution.
