Ariens Non Abrasive Skid Shoe Kit 72603100

I thought the metal shoes that came with the snow blower would be better, right? Metal is stronger than plastic so of course it is better. NO! The metal has much higher friction and would yank the snowblower to the side if it hit pavement. The plastic shoes glide much better. I can’t speak to durability yet but am willing to replace these ever now and then for the smoother performance. Oh – and these will not rust on the floor.
