Description The Hix B-250 is a super portable hat press that is light enough to use in your own premises or take to shows. This is a manual machine with a standard bottom platen size of Golf -76mm x 140mm (3" x 5 1/2") Optional, lower platens include: * Youth cap - 70mm x 133mm (2 3/4″ x 5 1/4″) * Ball cap -95mm x 150mm (3-3/4″ x 5-7/8) The B250 cap press has a digital count-down timer that is adjustable up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds. It beeps after the elapsed time, and resets when the open and close handle is raised. The calibrated digital temperature control is adjustable up to (232°C) and displays the current temperature. A manual pressure adjustment is located at the back of the cap mount. An innovative cap hold-down mechanism stretches the cap, holding it snug against the lower (rubber covered) platen whilst the press is being locked down. A Teflon blanket that is suspended between the upper and lower platen holds the transfer (or lettering) in place whilst the heating element is locked down.
