(Rust-Oleum, Clear 280886 Shield H2O Boot and Shoe Spray, 11 oz, 11 Fl Oz).First the Hat (same can be said for the matching gloves). Beautifully stitched, material is better than expected and the trimmed wool looks amazing and rich. Great quality all around and very warm.The waterproofing did darken them dramatically on application. However, after 24hrs and a cheap suede brush? Darker than original but not nearly that wet dark chocolate brown. It was perfect and turned out matching my current jacket and boots better! Zero complaints.(PS: I read someone complained about the chin strap. Yes, if you are going into constant blizzard condition like on Everest, this isn’t your hat.
