Waseef Asghar
Managing Partner

Waseef was with Gulf Finance House BSC (“GFH”) for 7 years and was an Executive Director before leaving to help set up WSK. During his 7 year tenure, he undertook a number of roles including Fund Manager and Head of Structuring for Asset Management before being seconded to establish and manage the Family Office of a key ultra high net worth client. Waseef is able to combine his skills in finance, law, shariah, investment management and investment structures to provide investors with an end to end solution.

Waseef was responsible for running the first Shariah compliant real estate funds for the UK (£170m) and France (€230m) and successfully exited the funds at net IRRs of above 13%. He also managed a €700m residential portfolio of 15,000 units in Germany.

Before GFH, Waseef has worked for a number of blue-chip organisations including EDS, IBM and PwC.

Waseef holds an MA from Oxford University and is a qualified CIMA accountant.

Saadat Khan
Residential Real Estate

Saadat has gained extensive experience as a developer and investment manager in the Residential Real Estate sector. He has dealt with many aspects of the residential property market including the successful development of large investment portfolios and the creation of innovative back to back structures for the retail purchaser. Saadat also has gained experience in the commercial property sector, the student housing sector and land assembly for capital realisation purposes.

Saadat was responsible for the successful launch of the Comfortable Living brand in 2004 and also successfully launched the first Shariah compliant fund in Gibraltar. He is now instrumental in helping Gibraltar to develop as a key offshore financial centre for Islamic Finance
